Its range of application is for drilling predominantly harder, consolidated and non-abrasive formations. The S-Series diamond impregnated bit matrices were first introduced in 2014. Their range of application is for drilling predominantly medium to hard, unconsolidated and abrasive formations. Bits in the S-Series range are well suited for use on higher-powered, hydrostatic drilling equipment.
