After a lengthy upgrade process, Dimatec
Inc. is pleased to announce that effective December
15, 2003, our quality management system has been certified
to meet the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 standard.
Since the company’s beginnings in 1988, Dimatec
has adopted a total
quality philosophy in our approach to business.
A documented quality management system has been in place
since 1992 with initial certification to the ISO 9002
standard. In 1996, the system was upgraded to meet the
requirements of the ISO 9001-94 standard.
With the introduction of the ISO 9001:2000 standard,
Dimatec viewed the upgrade to this new standard as an
opportunity to examine the entire process from the point
at which an order is received to the point the product
is delivered to you the customer. Using the ISO 9001:2000
standard as an operating model, every effort was made
to streamline the process with emphasis placed on enhancing
efficiency, eliminating waste and improving communications
in order to achieve the ultimate goal of improving customer
satisfaction. This upgrade process has effected every
aspect of the Dimatec organization and has essentially
re-invented the way we do business.
